7-pole plug systems 24 V in accordance with ISO 1185 (N-type)

Application:
The 7-pole 24 V plug system is currently the most widespread system for the
electrical connection between traction vehicle and trailer or prime mover and semi-
trailer in the commercial vehicles field. The system is mainly used for applications
with average requirements. The system comprises a regular plug-type connector,
type N, in accordance with ISO 1185 and an auxiliary plug-type connector, type S, in
accordance with ISO 3731. The auxiliary system differs from the normal system by
its white housing, contact inserts and non-interchangeable contact arrangement.
